World Hindi Day 2024: A Tribute to the Language That Spoke in the UN for the First Time

World Hindi Day marks the special moment when Hindi was spoken at the United Nations General Assembly in 1949. It’s celebrated by the Indian government to strengthen the connection between India and Hindi speakers worldwide. Throughout the day, various events like seminars, quizzes, essay writing, and speeches take place to highlight the importance of Hindi.
